LPI Social Work Counselling Services offers a therapeutic program that includes a step-by-step process to support people mandated or those who wish to prevent harm, in terms of human rights, equity and inclusion. The LPI Critical Reflective Practice Model is used in conjunction with additional Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Brief Therapy approaches. This program includes an assessment, psychoeducational resources, and instruction; structured and unstructured counselling sessions, and provides a report upon request.
LPI Social Work counselling offers a non-judgemental, confidential space to ask questions and discuss one’s experience with someone who has worked extensively in this area. It is also a resource for management to refer staff when psychotherapeutic support is required.
This service is provided through tele-counselling.
